It’s finally time to share the project I’ve been working on for the last year.
In 2015 I bought (and fell in love with) a Silhouette machine. Having been working in design (and primarily vector) for such a long, long time, I was thrilled to be able to complete products in my own home.
I soon started sharing and documenting my new adventures. I recorded my efforts as a very new beginner to encourage and help others just starting out. I dreamed up brand new ideas and brought them to life. I’ve been incredibly proud of my efforts the last 18+ months. Almost nothing works out the first time – but I keep going, working, learning and trying until the things I want to be in the world are all around me.
This led me to starting a new project just over a year ago – Silhouette Cameo Freebies. It started with a Facebook page, and it grew so quickly that I bought a domain name for it. It has taken a lot longer than I would have liked to get it ready for release, but it’s finally here!
I’m writing to announce the official launch of SilhouetteCameoFreebies.com.
Going forward, all of my Silhouette Studio files will be available there. Updates to past files, tutorials etc will all be published at SilhouetteCameoFreebies.com and announced on the SilhouetteCameoFreebies Facebook Page.
I am so proud of this project and happy to have it out of the shadows and a full part of Echoia.
For all of the amazing Silhouetters who have found me the last year and a half, you are a great, positive community unlike any I’ve seen in the design world before. Coming back to design after so many years off has been difficult for me in a lot of ways. I felt lost and on the outside, but not anymore. I feel welcome and wanted here, and I couldn’t be happier to have found my new place!
