This is the last Saturday of February and overall I’m pretty pleased with my efforts during Frugal February! I wasn’t perfect, but I did break out of some bad habits that were developing. There are still a few days of February left, and I expect to be fine on the no-shopping front until they go […]
Every year in February I commit to being more careful with money for the month. After birthdays in October, plus Halloween, then we go right into budgeting and planning for Christmas, followed by all the sales of everything ever in January (I don’t care much for Black Friday- I am a January sales girl), February […]
It’s almost time for another Project Ten Can. Or a project 20 can. Or a project ‘Don’t Buy Any More Candles You Freaking Psycho!’ Yep. If I publicly admit what I’ve done I’ll be able to move on. So we can all look forward to that. Anyway, here’s a little video DIY for these decorative stacking […]
The Crazy Candle Lady thinks it’s time for a little update on how her candle no-buy is going. If you didn’t see my original post on it, I am a confessed candle-hoarder. Fortunately for me, I also have many passions and hobbies. Unfortunately, my love of jar candles has been taking over far too much […]
It’s not any secret around Echoia that I’m a bit of a candle hoarder. And by hoarder I do literally mean hoarder. I buy them compulsively at times, and the rest of the time I’m like, I don’t want to burn you, my preciouses… . Crazy Candle Lady. I’ve been working on this and reminding myself […]
This week’s Silhouette Sunday post is short, sweet and fun. Photography is a love of mine, if no one noticed. My Nikon D90 is one of my best friends, and one of its best friends is my 50 mm 1.8 lens. I don’t get anything for anyone clicking those links. Just making the looking more convenient […]
I told you not to judge me! Didn’t I? Maybe not. But still. Do you have a problem with clean hands? No? Well okay then. Put your torches away. I love these Bath and Body Works Foaming Hand Soaps for the kitchen sink. I buy foaming hand soaps from other brands as well, but at […]
Ahh, Summer. Shorts. Lemonade. And sales. After Christmas is the worst time for me. What people don’t understand about, ‘Don’t buy me presents, just give me cash for the SALES!’ I’ll never know. Summer sales are no stranger to me either, though. I’ve not been nearly as bad as I was January-March but I’ve been […]
EchoStenger.com began in early 2013 as a side project of Echoia.com. Namely, Echoia Photography. Wanting to expand to include more varied content, it seemed only appropriate to change the site's title.
It currently is an outlet for many of my interests and passions. I share my work in and write tutorials for Adobe Illustrator, review products (mostly purchased by me), experiment with my Silhouette Cameo machine (hashtag vector in flesh!), share my day-to-day and still post photographs on a regular basis.
Thank you for visiting and coming along with me as I grow and seek out beauty in everything.
I am a Christian mom, girlfriend, dog-mom, cat-mom and pseudo step-mom. I take up hobbies faster than I can put them back down. I am from Texas, but currently reside in Utah.
I. Love. Air conditioning.
Angel : My seraph son. I’ll likely speak of nothing and no one so much. Born October 2009. He likes the color
orange blue and almost anything Marvel.
Veda : Black. Lab-like. Born Summer 2008. A life changer. Full name and title: Princess Darth Veda Jane Sultanfuss Stenger. Usually just Veda/Veda Jane when she’s bad. Also ‘Monster’. In your way? Just say, 'Scoot, Veda.'
Trinity : Rescued from the pound about 9 weeks of age, Summer 2009. I call her ‘Wiggle Bottoms’, 'Dummy' (lovingly, of course) or ‘Little Bit’. Big time cuddler.
Li : Dog cat. Scarier than both the dogs put together.
