Oh, I don’t think I can be controlled. My poor, manly family. But wisely they don’t ask me to choose. And you don’t have to choose, either, because the download for this is at the end of the post : ) Read along to see how I cut it! While walking through the aisles of […]
No tutorial this week, no walkthroughs. Just a project I completed. And Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. I’m offering the download for these, but I’ll tell you they were designed for very temperamental shadowboxes. They can be […]
Some of my favorite things to make with my Silhouette Cameo are different types of wall art. I’ve shared a few of them here with walk-throughs, tutorials and downloads. Since the beginning of September marks the start of Meteorological Fall I could no longer control my desires to indulge in orange, red and brown. I […]
Whew! I’ve been engrossed in summer, back-to-school and of course design, illustration and Cameo. I am constantly exploring and experimenting with what my Cameo can do. As a vector artist, for years I’ve completed illustrations just to look at them forlornly and wish that there was a faster, easier way to make them real. Right […]
One of the primary reasons I bought my Silhouette machine was so that I could personalize drinkware. I love mugs, cups, bottles, tumblers, shot glasses etc. I can’t get enough! Combining that with my love of pink and my huge ego I personalized my first water bottle. Personalizing Starbucks cups is a big […]
This frame cost roughly $2 in materials. Well, it’s made of $2 worth of materials! The frame was $1 at Michaels. I designed all of the flourishes and adornments specifically for it in Illustrator, cut them out of shiny black Oracal 651 and applied after painting the frame white and sealing it with dishwasher safe […]
I love technology. Art + Technology = Love. Every time. I also love my 5 year old son to the moon and back. All day. Every day. It never stops. Angel + Any Single Minute = Love. Around the time he was born I decided to give up (for the time being) most art. For […]
I love art, and decorations, and doing things myself! This spring I talked Kevin into talking me into spending way too much money on some new equipment to bring my art to life, and I’ve been quite obsessed with this machine ever since. This little cutie is a Silhouette Cameo and I’ve fallen quite in […]
When I lived in the South, I didn’t ‘get’ the Fall thing. The perfect weather, the waiting-for-the-snow-while-also-enjoying-the-last-bit-of-sun (thank you, inversion!) thing. The not-going-to-leave-the-house-from-November-to-March-so-you-might-as-well-decorate thing. But I’ve grown since. Now I enjoy every season of the year for everything it’s worth, and with Autumn coming on us soon I’m more than ready and excited. Decorating projects […]
EchoStenger.com began in early 2013 as a side project of Echoia.com. Namely, Echoia Photography. Wanting to expand to include more varied content, it seemed only appropriate to change the site's title.
It currently is an outlet for many of my interests and passions. I share my work in and write tutorials for Adobe Illustrator, review products (mostly purchased by me), experiment with my Silhouette Cameo machine (hashtag vector in flesh!), share my day-to-day and still post photographs on a regular basis.
Thank you for visiting and coming along with me as I grow and seek out beauty in everything.
I am a Christian mom, girlfriend, dog-mom, cat-mom and pseudo step-mom. I take up hobbies faster than I can put them back down. I am from Texas, but currently reside in Utah.
I. Love. Air conditioning.
Angel : My seraph son. I’ll likely speak of nothing and no one so much. Born October 2009. He likes the color
orange blue and almost anything Marvel.
Veda : Black. Lab-like. Born Summer 2008. A life changer. Full name and title: Princess Darth Veda Jane Sultanfuss Stenger. Usually just Veda/Veda Jane when she’s bad. Also ‘Monster’. In your way? Just say, 'Scoot, Veda.'
Trinity : Rescued from the pound about 9 weeks of age, Summer 2009. I call her ‘Wiggle Bottoms’, 'Dummy' (lovingly, of course) or ‘Little Bit’. Big time cuddler.
Li : Dog cat. Scarier than both the dogs put together.
