Hey, guys! Sunday (yesterday) was Valentine’s Day, so I was a little torn on the idea of putting up a new freebie. I had this one in mind, but it felt a little odd to put one up that wasn’t a Valentine’s Day-themed design, but also a bit late to share a Valentine’s Day freebie! […]
One of my first Silhouette projects, way back in Spring or Summer of 2015, was a roses shadowbox. This is a common use for Silhouette machines- rolled flowers, that is. They’re easy enough and lovely enough that the work vs reward comes out heavily on the side of reward. I designed those roses myself, because […]
It’s been a while since I updated on my general cameo projects. There have been lots of freebies making the rounds, but not much about my personal projects. I made several Christmas gifts. Every year, Angel receives an ornament for our tree. This year, I wanted something to reflect that he had started school but […]
Inspired by hearts and love and Valentine’s day on the horizon, I have a brand new Silhouette freebie for you! This adorable .studio3 file is a fully scalable vector graphic you can print, or cut, or print AND cut! Yay! This freebie is for personal use only, but it is available for purchase commercially in […]
It’s almost time for another Project Ten Can. Or a project 20 can. Or a project ‘Don’t Buy Any More Candles You Freaking Psycho!’ Yep. If I publicly admit what I’ve done I’ll be able to move on. So we can all look forward to that. Anyway, here’s a little video DIY for these decorative stacking […]
In the spirit of giving, I have a couple of new cut files for all you freebie fiends! There are two unique snowflakes in the Let it Snow cut file, and a little bunch of Holly in the Joy to the World file. Both are made with fonts I embellished to create the right feel […]
It’s difficult to describe the satisfaction that comes with envisioning something in the night, snatching up my bedside sketchbook, scratching out my best (pitiful) efforts and then actually making that idea come to life. I should dig out the actual sketch I did last month to really display how poorly I express myself on paper. […]
Merry Christmas, Freebie Lovers! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, even if you’re not American. I had the typical giant meal with family and worked on this post : ) I quite enjoyed designing and drawing this set up in Illustrator. I envisioned it as a painting, so I used them to […]
When I updated my Project Ten Can on Tuesday I mentioned some large 22oz jars that I had saved for a Silhouette Cameo project. I’ve been working on Christmas cut files for quite a while, but I don’t do a lot of decorating for Thanksgiving. I wanted to make a little centerpiece for my table […]
EchoStenger.com began in early 2013 as a side project of Echoia.com. Namely, Echoia Photography. Wanting to expand to include more varied content, it seemed only appropriate to change the site's title.
It currently is an outlet for many of my interests and passions. I share my work in and write tutorials for Adobe Illustrator, review products (mostly purchased by me), experiment with my Silhouette Cameo machine (hashtag vector in flesh!), share my day-to-day and still post photographs on a regular basis.
Thank you for visiting and coming along with me as I grow and seek out beauty in everything.
I am a Christian mom, girlfriend, dog-mom, cat-mom and pseudo step-mom. I take up hobbies faster than I can put them back down. I am from Texas, but currently reside in Utah.
I. Love. Air conditioning.
Angel : My seraph son. I’ll likely speak of nothing and no one so much. Born October 2009. He likes the color
orange blue and almost anything Marvel.
Veda : Black. Lab-like. Born Summer 2008. A life changer. Full name and title: Princess Darth Veda Jane Sultanfuss Stenger. Usually just Veda/Veda Jane when she’s bad. Also ‘Monster’. In your way? Just say, 'Scoot, Veda.'
Trinity : Rescued from the pound about 9 weeks of age, Summer 2009. I call her ‘Wiggle Bottoms’, 'Dummy' (lovingly, of course) or ‘Little Bit’. Big time cuddler.
Li : Dog cat. Scarier than both the dogs put together.
