The Crazy Candle Lady thinks it’s time for a little update on how her candle no-buy is going. If you didn’t see my original post on it, I am a confessed candle-hoarder. Fortunately for me, I also have many passions and hobbies. Unfortunately, my love of jar candles has been taking over far too much […]
I’ve had some technical difficulties the last couple of weeks, but I’m back! To celebrate, I’m releasing two new Halloween cut files in the middle of the week. Yay! First we have a bat webbing its way out of a tree, which has more webbing in it. I enlarged this cut file and cut it […]
Following in the steps of the Layered Pumpkin and the Layered Umbrella and Layered Candy Corn cut files, this week I’m releasing a layered spider web! It probably isn’t hard to tell, but I’m enjoying this type of cut a lot. It’s fun to imagine different things and determine how well they lend themselves to this style, […]
As promised, a follow-up to Sunday’s Layered Pumpkin cut files! Today I’m offering downloads for a layered umbrella and a layered candy corn. These are put together the same way the pumpkin was, so if you did not see that post check it out and learn to Create a Layered Pumpkin CutoutUsing your Silhouette Machine. […]
Oh, I don’t think I can be controlled. My poor, manly family. But wisely they don’t ask me to choose. And you don’t have to choose, either, because the download for this is at the end of the post : ) Read along to see how I cut it! While walking through the aisles of […]
No tutorial this week, no walkthroughs. Just a project I completed. And Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. I’m offering the download for these, but I’ll tell you they were designed for very temperamental shadowboxes. They can be […]
Some of my favorite things to make with my Silhouette Cameo are different types of wall art. I’ve shared a few of them here with walk-throughs, tutorials and downloads. Since the beginning of September marks the start of Meteorological Fall I could no longer control my desires to indulge in orange, red and brown. I […]
Whew! I’ve been engrossed in summer, back-to-school and of course design, illustration and Cameo. I am constantly exploring and experimenting with what my Cameo can do. As a vector artist, for years I’ve completed illustrations just to look at them forlornly and wish that there was a faster, easier way to make them real. Right […]
I told you not to judge me! Didn’t I? Maybe not. But still. Do you have a problem with clean hands? No? Well okay then. Put your torches away. I love these Bath and Body Works Foaming Hand Soaps for the kitchen sink. I buy foaming hand soaps from other brands as well, but at […]
EchoStenger.com began in early 2013 as a side project of Echoia.com. Namely, Echoia Photography. Wanting to expand to include more varied content, it seemed only appropriate to change the site's title.
It currently is an outlet for many of my interests and passions. I share my work in and write tutorials for Adobe Illustrator, review products (mostly purchased by me), experiment with my Silhouette Cameo machine (hashtag vector in flesh!), share my day-to-day and still post photographs on a regular basis.
Thank you for visiting and coming along with me as I grow and seek out beauty in everything.
I am a Christian mom, girlfriend, dog-mom, cat-mom and pseudo step-mom. I take up hobbies faster than I can put them back down. I am from Texas, but currently reside in Utah.
I. Love. Air conditioning.
Angel : My seraph son. I’ll likely speak of nothing and no one so much. Born October 2009. He likes the color
orange blue and almost anything Marvel.
Veda : Black. Lab-like. Born Summer 2008. A life changer. Full name and title: Princess Darth Veda Jane Sultanfuss Stenger. Usually just Veda/Veda Jane when she’s bad. Also ‘Monster’. In your way? Just say, 'Scoot, Veda.'
Trinity : Rescued from the pound about 9 weeks of age, Summer 2009. I call her ‘Wiggle Bottoms’, 'Dummy' (lovingly, of course) or ‘Little Bit’. Big time cuddler.
Li : Dog cat. Scarier than both the dogs put together.
